    A Star Fell

    A star fell from heaven
    and lit up the night
    with crystalline diamonds
    and ribbons of light.
    It sped as it sparkled
    with silver and gold
    through moonbeams’ sheer magic;
    a sight to behold.
    In silence and wonder
    we watched as it spread
    across its dark course
    dazzling colors of red.
    It happens quite often
    but only by chance,
    that moment together
    we watched the sky dance.

    Tre cool. I am also adding this to my favorites. I have to stop reading your poetry before I run out of room on my favorites page.

    A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
