Helping Others
Arms reaching out to one another,
Stretching across twelve hundred miles.
Hearts touching hearts, fingers clasping,
Warm embracing--exchanging smiles.
All nationalities, different backgrounds,
Yet our hearts are intertwined.
A patchwork quilt of many pieces,
A pattern that our Lord designed.
For God has brought us all together
For this was His almighty plan,
To carry through with His desires
That we may serve our fellow man.
His grace has brought us where we are-
He’s blessed us through His Son.
He has given each one of us a job
That really must be done.
Our job must be to serve Him
In any way we can,
To bring Glory to the Lord
And to edify each man.
We came to Georgia as a group,
The young and old - the same
To spread God’s love and glory--
In Jesus precious name.
