    Sometimes we just need to step back and be thankful for the little things.

    Prayer Of Thanks

     Thank you for this special day
    And all you give to me
    Thank you for the swaying grass
    And the gentle blowing breeze

    For the birds that reign on mountains high
    And the creatures that walk the land
    The ones that swim the deepest oceans
    Or crawl upon the sand

    Thank you for the little children
    As they play with such delight
    And also for the moms and dads
    Who work to raise them right

    I thank you for the shining sun
    That warms our mother earth
    And the beauty that befalls us
    With each new seasons birth

    I also thank you for my friends
    And my precious family
    And I cant forget my brothers and sisters
    Who live across the sea

    I pray that you will give them peace
    Throughout their troubled land
    Grant them peace and mercy
    Through the power of your hand

    Theres one more request Lord, before I go
    That I would like to see
    Give me the courage to do whats right
    As I journey closer to thee

    Sweetie, this is goin' into my favs....I can read your soul poured out into this lil baby...written from your Hearts inkwell- it is so true it is the lil things in life around us that matters the most, we must all stop long enough to breath it all in- see, feel ,hear and allow nature to become a part of us...before we close our eyes and become a part of it ...Beautiful!!!
