    Poem Commentary

This poem was co authored with fellow poet Lizsia. We shared many laughs and had great fun composing together. Her talent is truly a blessing. I hope you all enjoy. ~ LoneWolf

    You Provoke Me

You provoke me with your eyes
    Gleaming in the morning sun
They sparkle in the morning dew
Making their stunning hue even more delightful

You provoke me with your smile
Your lips whisper without a word
    Speaking softly to my heart
Soothingly telling me of your love for me

You provoke me with your hands
    As you gently caress me
Filling my senses with the wonders of love
And making me long for your unceasing embrace

You provoke me with your presence
When you look at me with those accepting eyes
When you smile that knowing smile
And touch me so gently, I know you love me

Your words invoke great passionate feelings - what a feeling to have affections that provoke actions. Your choice of words fit perfectly like two lovers born for each other. Excellent.

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.
