     Pray for our children
    I'll pray for yours
    You pray for mine
    Lest they be trampled
    By an uncaring society

    A society that teaches
    That its really not ok
    To be yourself
    A society that says
    If you want to be popular
    You got to run with the crowd

    Pray for our children
    I'll pray for yours
    You pray for mine
    Lest they become lost
    In the unforgiving realm
    Of drugs, alcohol, and crime

    Pray that they develope fortitude
    With a deep conviction
    Of grace and compassion
    To be able to rise above
    The perniciousness
    That befalls this great nation

    I agree-I've worked with at-risk juveniles-it is sad thd struggles they deal with today-well written
