You think that now you have entered in
With the family of my ex-husband
That you can try and take my place
I am there mom and that's something you can't replace
When they come home they are happy to be
Back in the home with their mommy

You try and take control over everybody
Let me tell you sweetheart you don't have it over me
I am giving you advise take it or leave it if you want too
Pissing the family off is something you don't want to do
Please don't try and play like you are my friend
Because that game you play I will win in the end

I have been nice to you and I haven't said anything
But it's only a matter of time when your phone starts to ring
And when I call you won't like what I have to say
I will let you know not to step in my way

So, here is another piece of lovely advice
Don't piss me off either because the consequences won't be nice
My ex-husband will be forever a part of my life
Even when it's your turn to be his ex-wife
So, leave the raising of our kids up to us
This isn't a request from me it's a must!!!



I WROTE THIS POEM NOT BECAUSE I WANT MY EX-HUSBAND BACK BUT BECAUSE WHEN YOU ARE A STEP-MOTHER THERE ARE BOUDNARIES YOU SHOULDN'T CROSS.. LET THE MOTHER AND FATHER DO THE RAISING OF THE KIDS; UNLESS THE MOTHER IS TOTALLY OUT OF THE PICTURE.. I UNDERSTAND THAT EVERY SITUATION IS DIFFERENT. MINE IS JUST THE SAME CRAP WHEN A STEP-MOM IS INVOLVED.
