    no excuse

If there was a way for me to go back to when
I was being abused I sure as hell would have turn him in
I thought that things would get better but there is no excuse
no-one deserves the verbal, mental, physical or sexual abuse
these children did not ask us to bring them in
to a situation where no parent will win
what will happen to the children when a parent goes to jail?
more than likely someone will post the bail
how do you explain why they are coming back home?
will you keep making excuses every time you take a blow?
no matter how hard you try the abuse will never leave your mind
that is a part of your past that will be hard to put behind
I am the last person who would judge because it happened to me
it breaks my heart to hear that the abuse the children see
you are stronger than you realize, be proud, and stand your ground
do not let anyone scare you or try to put you down
these kids do not need to see their mom and daddy fight
take them out of the situation that is what's right
would you allow your children to be abused? then why should you?
I know it might be hard but you know what to do
if by chance I hear or see my children get hit one day
I will not shut up like I was told I will have a lot to say

Super by content! I felt jerky movements dealt by grammar. Aka good movement but unnecessary added words. You start with first person in statement and you want to keep this Power through out! I hear Power in the voice of enough.

This is a very heavy weight, to have, on your mind. A male abusing a female, is unfortunately not hard to find. But that kind of person, in me never existed. Even though it happened to my mom; but I was too young to know what I witnessed. I just hope that part of your life, is over, and never coming back. But if it does, grab a frying pan, and when he's sleep, give HIS ass a whack!

HE IS MY EX HUSBAND AND I DON'T THINK HE WOULD BE BRAVE ENOUGH TO TRY IT AGAIN.
