    Obesity

    People make mean comments about me when they walk by
    I can not help I am overweight I am only five
    I am a teenage boy who really would like to date
    When I say "hi" to girls they don't look my way
    I am a young girl who wants to be on a cheerleading team
    But the other girls just laugh and they are so mean
    I am not a young girl or even a boy, I am a man
    With an eating disorder which no-one can understand
    When I get depressed I go and grab some food
    Thinking to myself those Twinkies look really good
    I am an outsider who just really wants to fit in
    One day my dream will come true and I will be thin

    I believe society paints a perfect picture of what's "normal and sexy" but being beautiful doesnt always mean you have to be thin. You should read my poem "Starving For Beauty" it kinda has the same concept minus the obesity part

    Whoa! Wait a minute. You say you want to be thin. For what? So in society, you can, fit in. Fuck society; and everything, it happens to stands for, when it makes you, pimp your own self, and turns you into, your own whore.

    society they judge and i agree to be yourself but so many people want to fit in and be thin. it sucks.

    In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.
