My Sister My Best Friend

My Sister My Best Friend

You have been the best sister since we were little girls

I hated my straight hair and you hated your curls

Mom and dad would dress us in the same clothes

We got comments everywhere we would go

As time went on we found our own identity

The bond can not be broken between you and me

I can recall all the time we sat in our rooms and just hung out

Laughed about all the fights at school and the boyfriends we would talk about

We would laugh and laugh until our tears fell like rain

We reminisced about all the good time and even all of our pain

Before we knew it we had a little sister than a brother

Not long after that we both become mothers

As we keep going through all of our journeys

I will always be there for you like you have been there for me

Is there a way fro me to show you my gratitude?

Besides saying there is no other sister as better as you

We talk on the phone and we laugh and vent

I am honored to have you as a sister because so much laughter to me you have sent

You are more than just my twin sister you are my very best friend

And I want you to know no matter when you need me I will be with you until the end
