my kids
My kids give me the biggest smile on my face
they don't have to say " I love you" they can give me a long embrace
My kids know I love them as I hold them in my arms
They know their mama will always keep them from harm
My kids play together of course get hurt and cry
once again I am there to wipe the tears from their eyes
My kids one day will be all grown
they will start a family of their own
But for now I will cherrish them while they are small
I really don't mind cleaning their prints off the wall
My kids prints one day will no longer be there
that is the day I will shed my biggest tear
So, to my kids please remember when it's your time to go out on your own
If for some reason it doesn't work out you are more than welcome to come back home
they don't have to say " I love you" they can give me a long embrace
My kids know I love them as I hold them in my arms
They know their mama will always keep them from harm
My kids play together of course get hurt and cry
once again I am there to wipe the tears from their eyes
My kids one day will be all grown
they will start a family of their own
But for now I will cherrish them while they are small
I really don't mind cleaning their prints off the wall
My kids prints one day will no longer be there
that is the day I will shed my biggest tear
So, to my kids please remember when it's your time to go out on your own
If for some reason it doesn't work out you are more than welcome to come back home
