    The mirror
    as i look into the mirror i see
    you not me
    as we walk oblivious
    side by side
    a feeling the mirror can’t hide
    i touch mirror
    and feel you
    i walk away alone
    and miss you
    a parallel life
    but neither of us know
    when we will meet
    or which way to go
    it’s lonely sometimes
    not knowing we’re together
    we could walk oblivious
    to one another forever
    someday we know
    our paths will cross
    but when or how
    the chance is a coin toss
    helpless but hoping
    the mirror will shatter
    and then our existence
    will finally matter
    and open the door
    on the other side
    a shared existence
    we’ll no longer hide
    only a dream
    our lonely lives will erase
    ridding ourselves
    of a vast empty space
    we’ll never close the door
    on one another
    to finally have found
    the missing lover
    now I look into the mirror
    and I see my face
    with you behind me
    in your destined place

    wow.. i love this write.. i don't look for flow or construction.. but I judge on if I think I can "FEEL" what you write. I have read several so far and I felt as if I was part of the write.. That to me is GREAT writing
