YOU NEED TO KNOW SOMEONE(L.U.K. 5)
HALLOWEEN IN '57, LARRY KUNKEL, HE WAS BORN,
IN '08 HE SAID GOODBYE, AND DIED ON CHRISTMAS MORN.
HE WILL BE MISSED GREATLY BY MANY A FRIEND,
THIS IS A WOUND, THAT WILL NEVER MEND.
THE HOLE REMAINS EMPTY, EXCEPT FOR THE LOVE FROM HIS HEART,
THAT HE GAVE WITH NO LIMIT, TO THE END, FROM THE START.
IF HE ONLY HAD A LITTLE, HE'D STILL OFFER SOME TO YOU,
IF HE ONLY HAD ONE, HE'D JUST CUT IT IN TWO.
AND IF HE HAD NOTHING, HE'D APOLOGIZE,
AND GIVE WHAT YOU GET, WHEN YOU LOOK IN HIS EYES.
ALWAYS A GOOD TIME, NO MATTER WHERE WE'D GO,
HIKIN' THE BLUE HILLS OR SHORES OF LAKE MICHIGAN, AT 80 BELOW.
SO MANY THOUGHTS TO CHERISH, AND NEVER FORGET,
ALTHOUGH NOTHING'S PERFECT, IT'S FRIENDSHIP, NO REGRET.
HE HAD TO GO, ON A SPECIAL DAY,
SPECIAL HE WAS, THATS JUST HIS WAY.
NOT ANOTHER LIKE HIM ANY WHERE,
NOW IN MY HEART, AND ALWAYS THERE.
THERE TO HELP ME, THROUGH THIS ALL,
LIFE BEATS ME DOWN, HELP ME STAND TALL.
WHEN I'M LOW, HE HOLDS ME HIGH,
WHEN TEAR DROPS FLOW, HE WIPES MY EYE.
HE WAS, WHAT WE ALL SHOULD TRY TO BE,
IF YOU KNEW HIM, YOU WOULD SEE.
AND IF YOU DIDN'T, I'M SORRY, BUT HEAR WHAT I SAY,
YOU NEED TO KNOW SOMEONE, WHO ACTS THE SAME WAY.
