THE SPRINKLING---03-04-09(L.U.K. 6)
IT’S NO INKLING, THERE’S GOING TO BE A SPRINKLING,
OF ASHES FROM DUST TO DUST.
A BODY THAT DID HOLD, THE GREATEST OF SOULS,
THIS EVENT IS A MUST.
HE LAUGHED, HE CRIED, HE LIVED , HE DIED.
TOUCHED MANY SOULS ON HIS WAY.
HE GAVE WHAT HE COULD, DID WHAT HE SHOULD,
ALWAYS KNEW WHAT TO SAY.
SO WE GATHER HERE, WITH HIS MEMORY DEAR,
TO PARTAKE IN HIS REQUEST.
TO SCATTER HIS ASH, ALONG THESE PATHS,
SO HIS JOURNEY WILL NEVER REST.
SO SCATTER WE WILL, FROM HILL TO HILL,
AS WE REMEMBER, SMILE, LAUGH, AND CRY.
LARRYS BODY IS GONE, WHAT HE LEFT WILL LIVE ON,
AND NOW IT”S TIME TO SAY GOODBYE.
