I SET SAIL
NOW I HAVE ALL THIS TIME, SO MUCH TIME TO THINK,
IT'S UP TO ME TO HOIST THE SAIL, OR LET THE SHIP SINK.
MY HEAD WAS SO CLOUDY, BUT NOW MY THOUGHTS ARE CLEAR,
MAYBE NOW MY SHIP HAS COME IN, IT'S UP TO ME TO STEER.
I SET SAIL, AND GOD WILL BLOW, THE BLESS-ED WINDS OF TIME,
I HAVE FAITH, HE WILL FORGIVE, AS I PAY FOR MY CRIME.
I'M NOT SURE, EXACTLY WHEN, THE DAY WILL COME I'M FREE,
BUT EVERY DAY, I STILL PRAY, AS I FLOAT HERE IN THIS SEA.
SOON I KNOW, IT WILL BE, WHEN I SEE THAT PORT OF CALL,
THAT'LL BE THE MOMENT I REFLECT, AND LEARN FROM IT ALL.
AND ALL THE LESSONS THAT I LEARN, I HOPE I WONT FORGET,
SO AS NOT TO MAKE CHOICES, THAT I'LL ONCE AGAIN REGRET.
WITH THE HELM OF LIFE IN ONE HAND, IN THE OTHER, THE GOOD BOOK,
I'LL KEEP MY HEAD CRYSTAL CLEAR, SO I GET A GOOD LOOK.
AS IT APPEARS ON THE HORIZEN, THE PLACE THAT I SHOULD BE,
I'LL DOCK MY SHIP IN HAPPINESS, AND MY FREINDS, THATS DESTINY
