INTRO TO THE L.U.K. POEMS:
The first of the L.U.K.(Larry-Uncle-Kunkel)  poems I wrote when Larry called and told me his youngest, stacy (20 y.o.) was severly injured in a tragic incedent, she was critical for 10 days and then died.(It was widely publisized, stacy kunkel, rice lake,WI chronotype has all info. Not long after that Larry Kunkel, my best friend of over 20 years, was told he had lung cancer and 5 brain tumors.
I wrote a lyric to express what an awesome friend he has been.
I hoped it could become a song before he had to go.
I contacted Larrys all time favorite music artist SHAWN PHILLIPS, through his manager, Arlo Hennings, and he passed my message and lyric, to ask shawn if he could help me make this a song for my dying friend, a huge long shot......................six months later out of pure unselfish kindness, he sent me the MP3.
 Larry got to hear it many times before he had to move on, christmas morning 2008.
He will be enormously missed by many.
