JUST A LITTLE GIRL
Just a little girl growing up in a grown up world
Wanting to be me on my own
I know it's true, I have alot of growing to do
But I'll find that out alone
Decisions don't seem that hard to make
I'll figure out which path to take
I'll find riches in either life or a diamond & pearl
Which ever I chose, win or lose-
You see me as just a little girl
Puberty has found me,-- and led me to the woman I'll be
Sooner than what you could hope
Although I'm still growing, it's the "Not knowing"
That will teach me how to cope
Yes, they'll be lessons to learn & bridges I'll burn
Finding out things the hardest way
Lots of advice, mean & nice
And listen to what others say
It's my time to explore, find out if theres more
Let me make my own mistakes-see if I have what it takes
Let me give life a whirl...instead of being...- just a little girl.....
