Somewhere there is always a broken heart, therein, lies an empty space
A heart once filled with joy and love, now there is no trace
What remains is the memories, heartache, and pain
Love that's now gone- but leaves sadness to remain
Like pain you feel when you love someone, but they never did or no longer love you
Is love worth all the heartaches that we must suffer through?
When it's over for you and the one you love, is love lost or destroyed?
Countless memories is all that's left of a part of life once enjoyed
We can dream of love knowing not all dreams come true
And wonder if it's worth the wait, if by chance they do
Sometime ago I promised myself to keep my love unspoken
But we all need to tell someone....sometime
Even if it means our hearts might get broken-
I had a desire to be loved and that desire did come true
My only dream ever fulfilled- when "I was loved by you".....
