SO SMALL, SO SWEET, SO SOON
***Dedicated to my special friends, Robin, Anthony & Sierria*****
God gave to you a family; a wife, a daughter, a boy whose just like your own son-
Suddenly their taken away from you, their lives had just begun
The tears you cry that fall down your face-not friends or words could fill that space
You may always wonder how it happened, though you may never know
"Why"?- you may keep asking... cause it was their time to go
You may blame God forever, most people always do
You may ask why he took them away when they were suppose to belong to you
"How come not someone else- so your family could have a chance to live"?
We blame God for what he takes, but forget what he has to give.
--To you, he gave you Robin. She came into your life
In sickness and health, "till death you do part"- he gave to you a wife...
--To you, he gave another man's son, to help raise him as your own
You gave him love, a father's touch, & taught things he may have never known
He may have called you "daddy" though you were not the one-
To him you were there; God gave to you a son
--To you he gave a precious daughter- Sierria, a beautiful name
Just 8 months old, more precious than gold, with love, just the same
Such a proud father; she was a big part of your world-
God gave you everything....when he gave you a baby girl...
To us, family is everything, but they are not ours to own-
See, God shares with us the ones we love...but they are just a loan
When our account becomes "due" and it's time for us to pay
We do not fully understand the "balance due"- when our loan is taken away..
Forever, we still pay interest; the rate is always high
There's closing cost, many fee's are lost; the price we pay to die
Someday we may get another loan; a child, husband or wife
Each loan is different, each has a different price
-You, Dennis, my friend, have paid the highest cost
Three loans now paid in full- look what all you lost...
God gives...it's a blessing
For it's Satan that takes life, you see
But know that they are living in Heaven, far better off than we
When you look up towards Heaven..and see the sun, shining stars or glimmering moon
Remember they are there watching-Robin, Anthony, & Sierria..
