TEARDROPS FROM HEAVEN
When I think back to my younger days- before my grandparents died
I smile cause I have memories, along with the tears that I cried
The pain I feel seems so unreal, sorrow hurts deep in the heart
Grief is relief..or someones belief, still we're far apart
Years go by, time does fly, but to remember brings back all the pains
The years that we live, if I had 1 more chance just to give-
All this love in my heart that remains....
Although I cannot see, their bodies physically
I feel their presence watching over me...
The rain that falls from the sky- are thier teardrops from heaven, whenever they cry
This is how I know that they are near; through every drop with every tear
The reflection in the pond, the shaddow upon the wall-
Always there by my side to hear if I may call
When I put my foot into my mouth, or trip over my own two feet
I know they help me to get back on track for challenges I have to meet
When it rains, I'm glad it pours....with showers from above
Those "Teardrops from Heaven" may just be rain.. but it's how I remember their love
