GUIDING YOUR PATH
Although I have gone now- and though you cannot see
My eyes are watching over you, I guide your life through me
Eyes are always upon you, like there are clouds in the sky-
At times you sit back against the wall- & alone I hear you cry
I asked God to breath life back into you- so your world he put in hand
The key is in the clouds you see, though you do not understand
Beyond the walls of your prison that you have chose to live-
The guilt you bare keeps you there cause of what you feel you did not give...
- The last request you remember best- the night before my time was near
I asked for only one last thing but know one seemed to hear-
This, dear child has caused you pain, and guilt with sorrow and grief-
And I want so much to take you in my arms where before you found relief...
But you mustn't carry this heavy load, be free from any guilt
Remember I know your heart was there from the bond that we had built
You were always there for me from beginning to the end-
My grandson; the only one, that I could call my friend
Throughout the years, and the many tears, the doings of right and wrongs-
I cannot change the way things were; but leave the past where it belongs
-For you have grown since being left alone by those closest to your heart
"Get your behind out of the past, and put your past behind"-
Before the past tears your future apart"
I may have never thanked you enough for the many things you have done
Or told you that "I loved you" each and every day- as they went by, one by one
Of you, I am proud; maybe never said out loud... but this, I told your mother
So I too regret for words never said, yet,- and never meant for another....
Jimmy Dale,- Pam's first born one, and only son; a man you have become
And soon you will know, as you watch your son grow- where your strenght comes from-
Rather Paw-Paw Dub, through MiMi's love, or strength of your mother's heart...
What makes you who you are- is the way you are and sets yourself apart
"I forgive you and I love you"- MiMi Stark knows best"
"Forgive yourself and rid your guilt, let your conscience rest"
I am with you always, your shadow upon the wall
The reflection in the pond, the wind whenever you call
The prettiest red rose, whenever it grows, the squirels & birds in the park
And the Angel along the edge of the road,- guiding your path, is "MiMi Stark"...
