THE HEART HE TORE INTO
At one time I loved him so much
The only man that had the touch
His soft lips- his gentle kiss
Bedroom eyes I'll always miss
He meant everything to me
Gave all he could than set me free
A man like him is so hard to find
Can't seem to get him off my mind
I had never met someone like him before
I'd give anything to be with him once more
I'd give my heart to him to have & hold forever
I'd share all my deepest desires if we were still together
Every time I think of him, the teardrops start falling down
And try to push away the hurt from which my heart is bound
In time my heart will let go of a love I thought was true
But will the pain ever heal from the heart he tore into?
