"Its Fall!"
Its Fall!
Pretty Butterflies, won't be flitting
Corn . . .will stop growing, tall
There won't be as much, porch sitting
Its that wonderful season, its Fall!
Soon some will turn their clocks
Setting them to fall, behind . . .
No more sandals, pull out the socks
Weather gets cooler, but we don't mind
We marvel, at how the trees turn bare
With leaves all over the lawn . . .
Layers, like a blanket, lying there
More colorful, with each new dawn
The Jenny Rinds, still hang around
They've learned to weather the storms
Most of the birds will be Southbound
Together in the sky, in awesome forms
The days become bright, crisp and cool
A preparation, of yet another season
That mimics well . . . The North Pole
There is a perfect, rhyme and reason
How wonderful . . . God made all things
With a thought, and a touch of His hand
Seas, to mountains, to birds with wings
A picturesque beauty, Ever so grand!
