Richness of the Soul
"Richness of the Soul"
What do I care about fame, and riches
They won't cause nourishment to the soul
A fool and his money are soon parted
And all in-between. . . Takes it's toll
Fine things give pleasure for the moment
Surely, not lasting throughout the years
Much blood can be shed from greediness
With so much grief. . . And anguished tears
To have wisdom, along with patience
Spreading love freely . . .To one and all
Walking in the shadow of "The Almighty"
Helping a brother or sister, when they fall
That, to me is so awesomely fulfilling
Bringing peace. . .Within my very soul
But, the love of a Farthing or Shilling
In the end . . .Will bring times, so cruel
Climbing those upward stairs, to Heaven
Such a glorious thing. . .In the end
With a heart for peace, and a love for God
Life's journey, will be happier . . .My Friend!
