"Work of Art"
Work of Art
What a wonder, to look and behold
Such a splendid treat, to the eye
A present, we watch Nature . . .Unfold
A splash of color, framed against the sky
The shades of bronze, purples and reds
With orange and green, colors. . . Too
As Perennials, sleep in their garden beds
"Fall Season" displays, It's beauty to you
God created each season. . . With care
Each one with a beauty, all it's own
He too, must enjoy His masterpiece'
Looking down, from His mighty throne
To think "He" made all, for me and you
He wanted so much . . . To please
Giving beauty, each season through
Even to coloring leafs. . .On trees
One can only imagine . . . What awaits
In His Heavenly home, far above
As we stand at those "Pearly Gates"
And feel the rush, of God's love
The beauty there, can not be told
Mere words, could not explain
Gemstone walls, streets of gold
Wearing white robes, with not a stain
Yes, The lord does love pretty things
I can tell, by what He has created . . .
We see it in what, each season brings
A beautiful work of art . . . So anticipated
