“Alpha & Omega”

You were there at my beginning
You named me...Before my birth
You had a purpose for my life
That's why you sent me to Earth

You knew there would be trials
You blessed me, making me strong
You've always walked beside me
Even when the road was long

You will not forsake me Lord
I know that to be true.....
Through any kind of heartache
You are there to see me through

Many ways you show you care
When things just aren't right....
Oh, I can't see, but I know you are there
Lifting me up,  while down in my plight

I have learned, while years have passed
That the world will turn it's back . . .
Seemingly, when I need someone most
Their love and understanding, I lack

That's when I really lean on you
Realizing  how majestic you are
For in my very darkest hour . . .
You send your brightest star

No one in this world, can compare
To the wondrous things you do
You are the Alpha and Omega
And for all, I depend on you
