Around the Corner
The light of love shown brighter today,Chasin' away the darkness.
My biggest sin the smallest of iniquity
and the constant of worry.
Blame to backslide, perpetuated the whole time by righteousness
cause I'm buffeted.
Still the self is unforgiving from a proverb's admonishing.
The evidence is before me but I'm still not believing,
A letter condemns.
But those fears are relieved by the words of a friend.
Through you I've found the thing that I've been missing.
My Achelles' Heel revealed as a flaw
That ain't my fault and lifetime it took to fall
Burned out the shields, I finally let You in ...
But I'm starting over ...
There's a new life around the corner.
For the first time. I believe the words You have spoken.
It's been a long year but for the first time,
My heart remains unbroken.
Forget the corruption, I've come full circle.
The love that I've discovered never went away ...
It grows stronger every day ...
I'm on the verge of pushing through ...
But I'm starting over ...
There's a new life around the corner.
