    Beige

    All the fadeing
    fractured sea shell fragments,
wind tossed and made to lay,
    sentient in the movements,
    forever meant to stay
    by the water's flotsam
in their end are left resideing,
by the trueth that is there hideing,
    nurtured in their final home.

    May,
I if I were to question thee,
    be allowed this one impertinence,
to know if thou art to be freed by
the wash of the roaring shore
and set there to so slowly bask,
or laid there to convey with glee,
to anyone who may feel a need to ask,
the key of what will let me see,
    the most essential core,
    the complicated nature
    and emotion of commitments.

    To a man there walking,
    with his love there talking,
it seems as if in their dusk
    the elemental fragments
    have been placed to mask
their eagerness to script a plea
    and for those whom seek,
    to understand the secrets
shed by the lovers transient footprints
left in the fawn of this warm evening
    just as biden by the
    urgeing of the bubbleing sea.

    In the svelte reflection
    of the curling starfish's ocean
    lays the omnipresence answer
    hosted by the incessant tides
    that fathom the treasured venture
of the wisdom in a woman's ties,
to question where the heart resides
and explain why her faith is the resurgence of the currents pulses
in the mystery captured by her sighs.

    So wrinkle time
    and blur real reason
as we see her and him as them
trapped in his moment of doubt and questioning
but while fond waves are laughing
    and breaking close to hand,
he now knows she is his blessing
and we all see their fate is why
dear mother earth and the crimson sky
merge with them in the beige sand
as is echoed by the fragment;s firm reply.

I like it very much. Give us more!!!

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

    Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
