    Poem Commentary

    God haters and atheists cannot fathom my faith in God so I've been called several names which doesn't phase me. I decided to make it known to all that I'm not ashamed to proclaim the name of God and worship Him.

    Calling Me Names

     

    People may say I'm self righteous
    and that's okay by me
    I've been called much worse 
    although that's not who I be
    My representation is far greater 
    than any name on earth
    God already knew who I would be 
    long before my birth
    The relationship with Him I take 
    personally and serious
    That's the reason my behavior 
    seems a bit imperious
    I'm not ashamed to worship a God 
    whose love for me is huge
    So call me whatever you wish 
    because God is my refuge
