The Arrival

The Arrival

Offspring of serpents
Enemies of light
Cosmic disturbances
Befallen the night
Those of fork tongues
Speaking with shame
Vipers are thee; beware
Arival in Holy Flame
Some seek a paragon
From amongst the clouds
In time promised
To all; boldly and loud
With a roaring thunder
He will appear
Sooner than expected
Many will fear
An end to turmoil
Down with the beast
Famines no more
Henceforth a feast

Thank you Rhymer... That was my intention. smile.

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
