Jesus was crucified at an age most consider prime
Tortured as if He committed the worst crime

Mankind must be worth the torture, Jesus endured
The sins of the world 'forgiven' by His Blood so pure

Not only for the Jews were God's plan made possible
Jesus walked with His disciples spreading the Gospel

He stopped to perform miracles along the way
Healing the sick and afflicted where they lay

Jesus angered the naysayers when He raised the dead
Was arrested and a thorn crown was placed on his head

Jesus walked holding the cross He was to be hanged
On Golgotha atop a hill, in Calvary was slain

The moment God's Spirit impregnated Mary's womb
Jesus had to die and His body resurrect from a tomb

Prophesy must be fulfilled as part of God's Plan
Our salvation has been paid by the Son Of Man
