Enduring Eternally
The end is truly a beginning,
The start of a new age,
The birth of a new found glory.
At the heart of morning sorrow
Grows a shoot of hope,
Born of an inner peace,
Attained through the enlightened
Understanding, that
Death is just the beginning.
To have lost yourself to another plane,
To recall what once was and lament,
Is to forget that the past,
Is never truly gone,
It is simply awaiting the time,
When it may again rejoin you,
When you dream the same dreams again,
Resting in an endless sleep.
The pain of a passing does not dim,
It does not fade with age,
But it does, as a mercy to the living,
Grow easier to bear.
So take heart my dear one,
I may not be at your side this day,
But we shall dance hand in hand,
Smile, love and embrace
Again, another distant day.
Take heart, keep faith,
Do not weep,
I shall come for you
When you lay in the soft
Dark earth, when your
Flesh recalls its mother once more.
