Hollow Man
I can see into you nowDeep into your heart
I can see the lies creeping
In every little part
It would seem that
All your life you've been
Just a hollow shell
One of those pretend men
I wonder now if you
Could know what I do
If you take your past
And just glance through
The football star
With medals to show it
They aren't even yours
And you know it
An amazing marine
Perfect in every way
You were a risk to them
So at home you'd stay
The man of the law
With judgment so true
It's in plain sight to see
The people you lied to
You cared for children
A director of a youth home
The stories they would tell
Would fill a tome
You were the best leader
Of my Cub Scout Pack
But that all fell apart
As you suddenly cut back
Mr. flawless engineer
Perfect safety record
Yet you steal from the UPRR
Or so I've seen and heard
The tangled webs of lies
You've spun in your life
Have filled you very soul
With a deep strife
So now you lie to us
Though we're your family
We suffer by your lies
But now we can see
You're an empty soul
And we should've ran
Because nothing is worse
Than a hollow man
