    Poem Commentary

    This one was inspired by a recent trip to the mountains of Arkansas. Beautiful things inspire beautiful works, even if the works don't quite do them justice.

    Lost World

     Through wooded paths of long ago
    We travel ever forward
    Under shadow of leaves above
    Bathed in warmth of earth below
    Comfortable in the gentle silence
    We are amazed with the sights
    Of this once lost world
