Vices
With each of your vicesCome waves of new prices
With each addiction
You're drawn further in
To a hole that never ends
Your body breaks and bends
With each pill your body takes
I promise, they're all mistakes
It's best to put them down
And reclaim your crown
Though the need never dies
You must toss your supplies
For living with your drug
Is like the most awful bug
Writhing on your skin
Inching it's way further in
It's for your own sake
That you never again break
For surely you'll be destroyed
By the release you employed
The road isn't ever fun
But once you're entirely done
Life will open up it's light
And you'll end your plight
If ever you have any doubt
Call on God to pull you out
Or at least some other
A close friend or a brother
We will always help you
To get away from what you do
And someday you'll look back
You'll see how much slack
Cutting this away will do
You'll be so happy you're through
The storm and all it's prices
With freedom from your vices
