Listen To The Sounds
Listen.
Can you hear it?
The sounds of a soul slowly dying
It is pure and blissful
And just like the thief comes in to steal, kill and destroy
The enemy comes in to steal your joy
Your happiness is their weakness
Your sorrows and pain bring great joy to their heart
The enemy lavishes in your suffering
Burns like fire when you are overjoyed
The enemy knows you are weak
Making you weaker is what makes them strong
Tearing you down, so that you will quit
Fighting back has never been your style
You're much too classy for that
Just waiting for the day when the enemy will see the error in their ways
The sounds of a spirit breaking is what hurts the most
The sounds of apologies and forgiveness is what makes your heart ache the most
Never one for confrontation
Always a mere bystander in the flesh of destruction
Never pausing
Only gazing at a look so evil it makes you wanna shudder
Pondering...
Waiting...
For that day the enemy will see
That being fake is not the answer
Guess the joke is on the enemy, for they can say what they want
But what the enemy seems to have forgotten is that when a person has Jesus in their heart they are actually...
Much stronger then the enemy
And the God you serve
Is a worthy man
A righteous man
And can't nobody fault you for that...EVER
So, listen
I tell you listen...
to the sounds of a spirit slowly dying.
