    What Would It Take

    What would it take to be number one
    What would it take to achieve being the best
    What do you do when you're fighting that losing battle and all you can say is, "win, win, win"
    What would it take?
    What would you do?
    The powers that be...
    The naysayers who only speak in negative tongues
    Only the good die young
    Only the strong survive
    The weak shall suffer
    So let the mighty and the lanky stand together
    We shall overcome all the evil that lies before us
    When you bring attention to the lack of knowledge
    of  one's spirit, then you shall be the brain to their satisfaction The heart of their inspiration and the provider to their questions
    For the key is knowing what would it take
    The key is knowing what would you do
    So pass on that key and know what it takes to be the one that fights.

    I feel the passion and the strength in your words. Win win win! its all a test in time for the winner gets his soul and strives along in time the loser parrishes and gets caught up in the struggles they find in time, I like the optimism I like a positive state of mind without arrogance and this was a good poem thank you for writing it
