Love Me Because I Care, Hate Me For My Stare
Love me because I care
Hate me for my stare
Why should I have to just like you
When you are being so bare
Love me when I'm wrong
Hate me when I'm right
It's not fair to see you in such despair
Clinging on to so much from afar
I hate not sharing
I love when you're daring
Love me because I care
Hate me for my stare
It is a tragedy being lost
A grand moment to be found
We go together like oil and water, and they just don't mix.
"Like milk in the mornin' time and a beer at night."
Those words ring almost too sweet to cause a fight.
Why can't I let you go?
Why do I have so much desire to be with someone so unattainable?
Love me for who I am, not for what I've become
Hate me for selfish reasons, of something that will never be
Love me because I care
Hate me for my stare
