Two Ugly Ducklings
Sometimes it may seem that the climb is hardest when we don't stop to smell the roses.
The ugly duckling has it's own way
The ugly duckling lost it's way
The ugly duckling has it's way
The beautiful, the strong, the powerful feelings of wonder and great might
In it's own place
In it's own time
The ugly duckling heeds no warning
The ugly duckling fears no one
The ugly duckling will persevere
watch and you will see
This ugly duckling will soon fly away
Away it will fly
To the Southland
Or maybe even the Motherland
This ugly duckling was weak, but then became strong
Two ugly ducklings went walking one day
They stumbled on a path, a course to true destiny
Can't imagine the spark that was already growing there
Like magic their love flowed in and out with pure delight
It's when they became swans that we wonder if they will still be together
Two ugly ducklings became two remarkably beautiful swans
No longer searching for true love, because they already found it
Two beautiful swans went walking one day
And found the lone ugly duckling looking for love
One beautiful swan went to give comfort and care
The other beautiful swan went away jealous and enraged
Although nothing happened between beautiful swan and ugly duckling
The two beautiful swans that were once in love are now far apart
Nothing can erase the love that was once there
And nothing shall ever replace it
