    Un-Rape Me

     

    I know too much about Him

    to want to get caught up in the lifestyle of destruction

    Louisiana is not the way to live

    But hey if you want the voo doo doll to steal, kill and destroy

    go ahead and move down there

    Learn your French Creole, live on the bayou in the swampy, murky waters in a town on stilts

    The mind is terrible thing to waste

    Raping the mind

    Raping their identity

    Raping their love

    So scared

    So lonely

    I listen to the sounds

    Raping the mind once again

    It is too hard to bear

    I hear the voices of loved ones nearby

    It's like they are right above me

    Telling me to look up

    Pray

    Pray

    I was tricked

    I was robbed

    I was raped of my identity

    Raped of the soul that lingers within

    I was brought here to be made a fool of

    Why do they hurt me so

    Why can't I smile that beautiful smile anymore

    The mind is getting terrorized

    Raping all thoughts of impurity

    Raping all distant illusions of what used to be

    Invading my space, invading my privacy

    They don't know how bad it hurts to get your privacy taken away

    They don't know that the devil is after them too

    Oh they just don't know

    they just don't know

    I thirst

    I hunger

    Thoughts of you linger near

    Don't need to change your look

    Don't need to change your attitude

    Be who you want to be

    Be independent

    A true sole survivor

    God is coming and come He shall

    Jesus be on the way

    Help is coming

    So let my tongue be filled like the pen of a skillful writer

    Here comes the angel of mercy pushing her way through

    Be quiet

    Be quiet

    Better be good or you are going to regret it

    Voo doo Voo doo tell me tell me what is going on

    Devil devil go away

    It's not right, but it's okay

    I don't need you so go away

    You can't be strong no more

    I will not allow your to rape another soul no more

    Rape is wrong

    Rape hurts

    When you are a woman of God, you can't trust nobody but Him

    So I tell you tell you

    Go away and leave this place

    And take my pain and sorrows with you

    Very indepth thoughts in this piece wich give it alot of character. Also, I agree with Savant; I really enjoyed the ending as well. Wonderful job!

    I love the way this piece ended. I looked at the title and had one expectation and I saw something totally different. As a believer I am all about taking back what the devil stole from me, so I feel you here. I love the repitition. It's like a real thought process. Good work.
