    My Love

    My love is quiet...

Like a sunrise in early morning
with the billiance of mid day
like the shadows on the moon
    and the mystery it displays

    My love is timid...

Like the shyness of a child
or the flight of a sparrow
    Fleeing for some refuge
    The escape always narrow

    Then it grows...

A seed that bursts into existance
Breaking through the darkness to reach the light
    Reaching deeply to the soul
Bursting out with an untamed might

    My love is savage...

    Like the tigress stalking prey
Like an ocean raping a distant shore
The danger of the jungle in dead of night
As the falcon flies, and more

    My love is passion...

Like the mystery in the firelight
Or a quiet whisper in your ear
The breezes whisping past the time
And then my love is clear
