    Quiet Tears

Quiet tears fall softly like a gentle rain
The tears are trapped deeply within the soul
The only chance left is a quiet whisper
    Upon such timid lines

The laughter softens within such deceit
And the truth of the sorrow keeps showing through
A twisted smile remains the defence
    Against a building turmoil

Weeping in secret like a childs game
Playing the shots as you see them
Wondering how you would ever make it
    Without those timid lines...
