No More Tears
Only a lonely sound the quiet of deathThe birds no longer sing their praises to the wind
The leaves no longer float gracefully to the ground
The words are no longer heard
Gentle breezes in the leaves and tall grass
Silence of many untold tales of pain and darkness
Twists of fate so unexpected on such a warm day
A single tear will reach out and touch the soul
You laugh in your gaity at all the unexpected
Sorrow never touches because of your blindness
The self centered only feel pain for themselves
Never hearing the lonely cries of their victims
The sun sets in a bloody trial of life
Quiet is consumed in an everlasting torment
The honest and unsuspecting are made a mockery
And there are no more tears...
