my life is stuck in neutral
i can't get it to go
i might have to call the shop
and try to get a tow
its a rusty piece of junk right now
everything is going wrong
the headlights hardly work
and the defroster takes too long
I've got to try and fix it up
i just can't trade it in
but every time i fix something
it just breaks down again
if i manage to get it started
it takes a while for it to go
the battery is shot too
its energy's too low
at times it needs a jump start
and i have to get the cord
sometimes even that don't work
and i have to ask the lord
lord please help me
help me fix this rig
if you can help me out this time
man I'd love you big
but i feel guilty asking
only when i need assistance
and how i save him as a last resort
like he's the path of least resistance
