Raindrops
raindrops falling
pounding on my head
raindrops falling
like little balls of lead
each little raindrops
a problem in my life
each little raindrop
represents my strife
i try to run for shelter
i try to run real fast
but the rain still finds me
i can't outrun my past
i tried to wear protection
but it just wouldn't do
the rain is like a bullet
as through the air it shoots
pounding on my head
pounding on my soul
the rain keeps falling
reminding me my role
that I'm nothing special
i am just a man
I'm as insignificant
as a little grain of sand
nobody sees me
or notices I'm there
the rain keeps falling
and no one even cares
