Driving in Circles

  • Been on a hiatus for awhile, but I'm back and have the itch to write some poetry.

Driving in Circles

my life is like a race track
i've been going round and round
it seems like i have gone too fast
and seen nothing too profound
perhaps i should hit the brakes
and take a look around

short sweet and to the point this one! loved it, maybe once you've slowed down you'll find the exit gate that leads away from the circular track....it's much more fun to hit the open road.

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
