    Poem Commentary

This was dedicated to a good friend of mine.

    A Girl Named Sophie

At a glance from a distance

    A sweet smile beams

With a walk like a dance

    A happy girl she seems

    In a moment unexpected

    A warm feeling greets

    With arms wide open

    Destinies meet

    A friend so rarely found

    With love that so abounds

    That’s a girl named Sophie

    And she’s a real trophy

i really like all your rhyme schemes. all of your poems flow very well and it makes then that more pleasant to read. good job on this one, its simple but put together in great manner.

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
