Never Rains But It Pours
Reach out my hand to touch the wind of change
Close my eyes with my head back
To let it take me wherever its going
Shadows pass over my eyelids
Layed out flat on the oceans tides come the right time
Washed up on the shore of every coastline
To taste the sands of unknown destinations
Snowflakes coming down like pecks on my cheek
Pure white skies seeping into my bones
With a flare of light gone, but not forgotten
Fall back to the care such fragile whims
Whipping me back like the current always does
A river’s voice so passive yet persistent
Evaporated fragments returning to their cycle
Kidnapped particles of my being ascending with them
Only to come crashing down beneath the drops of rain
