Beyond Color tone
it's crazy ... cause coming up,across some lines we never crossed,
as life's journey continued
the souls of the eyes starring back at me
weren't encased in the same skin
a love gravitating beyond color tone
I began to realize that racism was
only some control game, I'd been sucked into
because hate can't exist where this touch came from
gentle with my fears, and my flaws
as if he was caressing his own heart .lips so sweet,
tenderly sucking, gently pulling mine.
so affectionate, I started off suspicous of his intentsions.
I begin to get angry , about all the lies I was fed
If i had thought deep enough, I would've
known spirits don't have any race ...
to some degree, media images perpatuated
the ignorance of racial separation.
now, i'm not saying , a mutual respect isn't
in order , We all have a code conduct that must
be observed . Truth is ,,, he was very culturally aware , he knew most of what not to say.Along the way , people of all
races have helped me in one way or another.
the attraction between us was magnetic
every time were in sync it's energetic.
I'm seriously ...thinking of trying "Something New"
A love strong enough to combat the stigma's of
society... I cringed at the thought of what our
parents may say. They came up in a very different day.
