Poem Commentary

This poem is a tribute of the love a man holds for the woman whom he respects , loves and adores . This is a tale of how much he pays attention to her strengths and not her flaws....

Through the eyes of a Loving Man

She is curvaceous , like the natural bends of the river, or the free flowing streams .
Her skin's smooth & glowing vibrant , and alluring as a beautiful, rustic cobblestone path.

As elegant as a tight, neatly woven table cloth that adorns the table of her favorite restaurant .

She is knowledgeable, enough to feed the curiousity of many minds, from many generations.

Overflowing with patience, as gentle as a drop of rain , of a storm that's just about to begin .

She's cant-take-your-eyes-off-her-sexy.Her face canvas's beautiful, playful,seductive, I-didn't-do-it-faces.

Her eyes will pull you into thoughts of you pleasuring her , thoughts of you walking down the aisle marrying her.
Her body is strong ,yet supple ,as if designed to be her man's favorite treat.

The voice of an earthbound angel, it's purely soothing , to the ear, pleasantly uplifting , healing the spirits of those with open ears.

No matter the clothes that adorn her body, or the makeup she carefully applies on her face , to know her true beauty, you must visit her spirit .

Never mind what her lips say, what does her heart say?
To see her through the eyes of God , you'll find her beauty is timeless ,constantly transforming as the colors of the chameleon .

She"s much too versatile to be boring , yet still has not revealed enough for him to stop being like "George" (curious).

Yes, her laughter is infectious, it gently consumes you, tickles you until, until, you have no choice but to return her joy.

Memories of her float in the pond of your heart & mind like happy little coy.
Her embrace so loving , it heals the wounds from the world's wicked war.
One touch ,a soft caress let's me know in her life is where i belong .

I love the word play here. I really love the feel of the longing behind the words. I can feel you speaking to the world. Guess what? The world is listening. Beautiful!

Poetry is not the expression of personality but an escape from personality.

T. S. Eliot (1888-1965) American-English poet and playwright.
