Conditioned
Conditioned
Conditioned
Conditioned to disrespect our elders,
So that they get mad at us , and hold
back their knowledge & gifts.
Conditioned to not trust our elders,
so we don't know the truth tween a truth & a lie.
all we'll wanna do is drink and get high.
Conditioned to trade off our self respect,
leaving the elders to reject.
Elders conditioned to trade more life for
abandoning the youth,
because they're barely maintaining necessities
like food and a roof.
Elders conditioned to keep face,
determined not to remove their masks,
Scared they'll be the "fall guy" for this race.
Meanwhile , the youth conditioned to abandon religion,
and steadily falling victim to social stigma's .
conditioned to stab each other in the back,
running wild ,strung out on crack,
stealing clothes off the rack,
till "Uncle Sam" cuts us some slack.
Conditioned to lie or cheat , using
trickery as a advantage to beat.
Conditioned to promote genocide,
then all you'll want is a free ride .
conditioned to cause trouble,
all the while your mind's under-
developed in a bubble.
Conditioned to drag folk's down with ya ,
foolish to hide & covering up your flaws.
Did you forget your perfect under God's law.
Conditioned to believe any lie,
without the notion to ask why.
Conditioned to not believe the truth,
Even though everyday God gives us proof.
Conditioned to blame love ones,
know divide and conquer is game # 1.
Conditioned to mentally go to sleep,
then we're easy targets, as shepardless sheep.
Conditioned to make and give excuses,
through your teeth ,you lie profusely.
conditioned to relentlessly compete,
so this country stays rich , never knowing defeat.
Conditioned to settle for less,
so I'm not worried to do my best.
Conditioned to live an unbalanced life,
omitting your blessings , inviting strife.
Now that you've inclined to wake up ,
you can tell friends and family whats up .
God will always make a way & fill your cup.
